The ground rules for shopping with us, using our website, and how we handle your orders.

Most terms of service are written to confuse you. Ours are written to keep things fair, for you and for us.
Batch & Peel is a small Yorkshire team making dehydrated cocktail fruit by hand. If you order from us, send a trade enquiry, or just browse, these are the ground rules.
Here they are in plain English. Read them.
1. About us & these terms
Batch & Peel Ltd (“Batch & Peel”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17232978. Our trading address is in Yorkshire, United Kingdom.
These terms apply to any purchase you make on our website and your general use of the site. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. Ordering & contract formation
Orders are processed through our Shopify storefront. When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the products. We will send an order confirmation email, but the contract between us is only formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email.
We reserve the right to decline any order (for example, if a product is out of stock or we cannot authorise your payment).
3. Pricing, VAT & payment
All prices are in GBP (£). Prices include VAT where applicable at the current UK rate. Delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout.
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering via the payment methods supported by our Shopify checkout.
4. Delivery
We ship within the United Kingdom and internationally. We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframes stated on our delivery information page, but these are estimates and international transit times will vary by destination.
You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs charges that may apply in the destination country. Risk in the products passes to you once they have been delivered to the address you provided.
5. Right to cancel & returns
Consumer cancellation rights
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you generally have 14 days to change your mind and cancel an order for a full refund.
Exceptions for perishable goods
Please note that because our products are food items, they are considered perishable. For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of any product where the seal has been broken or the packaging has been opened, unless the item is faulty.
Faulty or damaged goods
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours at hello@batchandpeel.co.uk with photos of the issue. We will offer a replacement or a full refund.
6. Product information & allergens
We take great care to ensure our product descriptions and photography are accurate. However, as our products are handmade from natural fruit, slight variations in size, colour, and appearance are normal.
Allergen information is provided on each product pack. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering to discuss our production environment.
7. Trade & wholesale
Trade enquiries submitted via our website are subject to review. If we open a trade account for you, separate wholesale terms and conditions will apply to those B2B transactions, which will be provided to you during the onboarding process.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website—including text, brand names, logos, and photography—is the property of Batch & Peel Ltd or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use it for commercial purposes without our express permission.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law (including your statutory rights as a consumer).
Otherwise, our total liability to you for any loss arising in connection with an order is limited to the total price paid for that order.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
